OSHA GHS Hazard Communication Training

About Course

OSHA GHS Hazard Communication Training is a comprehensive workplace safety course designed to help employees, supervisors, and safety professionals understand chemical hazards and comply with OSHA’s Hazard Communication Standard (HCS 2012). Hazardous chemicals are present in many industries, including manufacturing, healthcare, construction, maintenance, and cleaning operations. Without proper hazard communication, employees face increased risks of chemical exposure, workplace injuries, and long-term health issues.

This training introduces the Globally Harmonized System (GHS), an internationally recognized framework for classifying and labeling chemicals. Learners will gain practical knowledge on reading GHS labels, understanding pictograms, interpreting Safety Data Sheets (SDS), identifying routes of exposure, and selecting appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). The course also explains employer and employee responsibilities, safe handling procedures, emergency response practices, and how standardized hazard communication improves safety worldwide.

Through real-world examples and structured lessons, this course empowers workers to recognize chemical risks, apply safe work practices, and maintain compliance with OSHA regulations. By completing this training, participants strengthen workplace awareness, prevent chemical-related incidents, and contribute to a safer and more compliant work environment.
